Chaplin Park, and/or Middle School courts as needed This clinic is for BOTH beginners AND the players from our previous clinics and our Junior Team Tennis programs! 

Beginners will start with smaller racquets and lower compression balls for rapid learning.  More experienced players will be challenged with drills and games based on level.  All players will receive a combination of technique instruction and fun gameplay to exercise skills.

This is a program of Public Tennis Inc, USTA Community Tennis Association for Beaufort County.

Royce Sylvan. Royce is a USPTR-certified teaching pro, assisted by teaching pro, Woody! 

Racquets will be made available to those who do not have them.

Marwin Kline is a former collegiate athlete with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He is more than certified in sport specific training, one on one training and more.

Pop, Lock, Break and Perform each week next to friends! Hip Hop Dancers will not stop moving in this one-hour class that introduces dancers to the basics of Hip Hop Technique and encourages them to find their Performance Personalities. Performing each week at the end of class, these kids will improve their choreography brains, their confidence and work off their energy from the long school day! 

Maceo Harrison grew up in the DC area and moved to Savannah as a teenager where he continues to pursue his love for performing, creating and teaching hiphop dance. Sought after up and down the East Coast, Maceo has won numerous competitions for HipHop and regularly performs for fundraisers and events in the Southeast. Maceo teaches HipHop at Bluffton School of Dance where he is excited to share his passion for HipHop with young and eager dancers ages 3 and up!

Please wear: T-shirt, Shorts/joggers/leggings, Tennis Shoes (Flatter sole the better)

Suzannah Forbes is a Dance Instructor at the Bluffton School of Dance. She has been teaching various styles of dance for over 5 years and has a passion for igniting the spark that lives inside each young dancer! Miss Suzannah's dance training includes Ballet, Pointe, HipHop, Jazz and Dance Team. A calm and knowledgable instructor, Miss Suzannah holds high expectations for her students to both learn a lot in her class and fall in love with dance in the process!

Please wear: Bodywear: Leotard or Fitted Tank, Tights or Leggings and Shoes: Ballet and/or Jazz Shoes (barefoot is okay for week 1). Long hair in a bun or ponytail.

Greg MacDonell is a 31 year Class A member of the PGA of America and is the Head Teaching Professional at the Old South Golf School. Greg has been the Director of Instruction for the Island Rec Center Junior Golf Program for the past 16 years. Clubs provided by a grant from British Open Pub.

Our goal is to stress and improve basketball fundamentals and competitiveness in a fun, high-energy environment. The seven-week program will consist of one practice which we will evaluate talent and form teams while teaching 3v3 strategy and rules; five weeks of regular season play (2 games per night); and ending with a bracket-style tournament in the final week. 

Hilton Head Island High School varsity girls head coach Sean Rochester. Coach Rochester has run the Junior Seahawks program for the past four years and annual Seahawk summer camps for nearly ten years.  Prior to Hilton Head, Coach Rochester worked for the Miami Heat Summer Basketball Camps.

The Fast Lane Track Club welcomes all skill levels of youth runners to compete in the AAU Track & Field session. Meets are held throughout Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.  Running track provides the benefit of cardiovascular health and increased lung capacity, just at it provides greater endurance physically, along with improved speed, agility, and overall athleticism, while having fun in a team atmosphere.

Led by Coach Garret Talarczyk who has been coaching for 12 years at Hilton Head Island High School. Talarczyk played club volleyball and graduated from Western Michigan University. He has been the head varsity coach for 7 years. 

Coaching achievements include: 3 state championship matches, won states in 2016, won 6 consecutive region titles, Region coach of the year in 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016, nominated for SC volleyball coach of the year 2015, 2016, SC All-Star coach 2015, and Beaufort County District coach of the year 2016.
