Hobie Cat Sailing Lessons

2 hours, for up to 6 participants. A truly one-of-a-kind experience and adventure of a lifetime! This instructional course will teach you the parts of the Hobie Cat sailboat, basic rigging, and an introduction to sailing. Our lead sailing instructor is a USCG Certified Captain with over 30 years of Hobie Cat sailing experience on HHI. Our sailing lessons are offered next to our surf lessons, in front of the world-famous Tiki Hut. All participants must wear a USCG approved PFD that will be provided by the instructor. Max 250lbs weight capacity per participant.

Private Hobie Cat Sailing Charters

Offered May - August
Ages 8+ | $125

1 hour, up to 3 participants. Take a ride on our 17’ Hobie Getaway with one of our experienced captains. We will begin the charter by teaching you the basics of sailing and then take off from the beach on a 45-minute sail. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must wear a USCG-approved PFD that will be provided. Max 250lbs weight capacity per participant.
