New students must pay for a uniform. Through this program, you will learn self-confidence, a mixture of cardiovascular endurance, strength training, and flexibility exercises. This will improve reflexes and coordination while increasing strength and stamina. Overall fitness will be achieved.

Tormenta FC Academy camps are fantastic experiences for both veteran and new soccer players. Our dynamic coaches will provide fun games that promote soccer development, learning, character building, and exercise. We look forward to providing your child with a top-notch experience and delivering joy through learning and play to each camp participant.
Kian Brownlee has over twenty years of team and camp soccer coaching experience. Kids that participate with Kian gain an understanding of soccer through dynamic drills that feature fun as a primary objective of each activity. Your child will love learning with Coach Kian and his staff of expert coaches.
Please/bring wear: Soccer ball, water, snacks, soccer gear

Hilton Head Island Track Club exists to help Beaufort County young athletes learn the benefits and appreciation for Track and Field. We offer specialized training for all athletes 7 to 19 years old and will use the training to prepare for competitions during the summer including Nationals and Junior Olympics.
Coach Corey Taylor is a former 3 time All American out of University of South Carolina. He also coached an Olympian in 2012. Coach Taylor has coached track and field over 10 years. Pq Running shoes and comfortable clothes to train in.
Please bring/wear: water bottle

The spring basketball session will be a fun atmosphere with organized scrimmage games and basketball play. There will be some fundamental training as well but mostly game play.
Jesse Eddy, Hilton Head native, and local basketball standout played at Armstrong Atlantic State University before going on to the European summer league. As a starting point guard, he led his team to a championship before returning to his home here on Hilton Head to work with developing players. Jesse uses his background in biology, physical therapy, and personal training and his deep passion for and knowledge of the game of basketball to train the next generation of athletes into the best players they can be.

This special program is a USTA Foundation "Red Ball" pilot program. Coaches will use teaching methods designed to help beginners and advanced beginners quickly develop the skills they need to rally, play modified games, to learn to play their first points, and to have fun! A free USTA shirt is included.
Public Tennis offers tennis clinics and introductory play opportunities for children, adults, and special athletes. Our coaching team at Chaplin includes certified teaching pros and volunteers equipped to teach levels from beginner through advanced. Public tennis, Inc. is a USTA Community Tennis Association and a USTA Foundation NJTL chapter.
Racquets can be provided if needed; please bring/wear: proper tennis shoes and water

This program for intermediate to advanced level youth, is designed to accelerate "play aware" skills development, and to learn how to use the skills in singles and doubles game and set play. It's all about playing the game! Playing is where the fun is!
Public Tennis, Inc. offers tennis clinics and introductory play opportunities for children, adults, and special athletes. Our coaching team consists of certified teaching pros and volunteers equipped to teach levels from beginner through advanced. Public Tennis is a USTA Community Tennis Association and a USTA Foundation NJTL Chapter.

The first Tuesday practice will be on 2/27, and Sunday practice will start on 2/25. An email will be sent with times and more information.

No experience is required. Rec Lacrosse will now be a part of the SCYL League and run locally by HHIHS coaches, athletes and parent volunteers. Our goal is to continue to grow the game of lacrosse in South Carolina. Sixes format (5v5 plus goalie)

It’s never too early to learn the FUNdamentals of soccer! Join us as we let the little ones work on the basic skills of the game with dribbling, passing, shooting, and possible. We welcome volunteer coaches to help with coaching and organizing to make it a grand experience

Island Rec Center Gym | $75
This a great new opportunity to learn all the aspects of the sport of Volleyball for those who are not able to play at the school level yet. The program will be led by Island Rec Superintendent, Chuck Mullen, a former 19-year collegiate volleyball coach along with assistance from various local coaches with a wealth of volleyball knowledge. Players will receive instruction for the first few weeks and then be placed on teams with the opportunity to play in game situations for the final few weeks.
Led by Chuck Mullen, Island Rec Athletic Superintendent. Involved in volleyball for 30 years, 19 spent coaching at the college level.
Please bring/wear: knee pads, flat-bottomed athletic shoes

"Kick off" the Spring on the pitch in the largest youth sport program at the Island Rec!! Teams will be formed and assigned to volunteer coaches, who will coordinate practice days and times and play in age-division games weekly!
Please wear shin pads and goalies need gloves.

Girls: 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14
Boys: 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12- 14, 15-18 (must still be in high school for the spring semester)

Participants will learn sideline cheers and chants and half-time performance. Participants will cheer with the Hilton Head High Cheer and Dance teams and perform during half-time. Participants will practice January 24th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm @ the HHIHS cafeteria. Participants will cheer and perform January 26th @ the Hilton Head vs. Bluffton women's game @ 6:00 pm. Participants must register by 1/12/2024 to guarantee correct t-shirt size. Please bring/wear: water bottle and sneakers.

Tormenta FC Academy is hosting Christmas Soccer Camp at Barker Field where all kids will have fun, make friends, and learn soccer skills. We look forward to having your family work with our master coaches in an amazing environment for learning soccer. The lead instructor is Kian Brownlee who is the Director of Coaching at Tormenta FC Academy.
Kian Brownlee has over twenty years of experience in working with kids in a camp setting where they have fun, develop a love for the game, and gain skills. The kids will love working with Kian and his staff.
