Congrats to our Member of the Month, Denise!

What brought you to Island Rec?

I first came to the rec center because I was looking for a place to work out and it looked so nice from the outside

What is your favorite part about Island Rec?

I love it cuz it’s close, clean, and has a lot of equipment. The people are great!

What is your preferred type of exercise here?

I mostly do cardio but some weights and I like the rooms in case I want to do workouts

Do you have a favorite local restaurant?

I love to eat at Stellinis, Amigos, and JBZ Bonez

Where were you born?

I am originally from Kansas City, Mo

Do you have any hobbies? If so, what?

I love spending time with my family and my daughter and niece who live on Hilton Head and of course my good friends, and occasionally enjoy going to happy hour.

I also love spending time in California with my son, his wife, and my three beautiful grandchildren!
